Flooded Aisles
Most of us walk through a supermarket several times a week, filling our baskets without realizing that every product carries a story far beyond the shelf. In truth, there is a hidden water usage attached to the products we buy, water taken from communities and ecosystems far from our homes.
Water Witness is a non-profit organization focused on addressing the global water crisis by promoting sustainable, equitable water management.
“Our work often focuses on making the unseen seen. We are surrounded by products, yet we rarely see their hidden impact. This film makes the invisible water footprint connected to these products visible.”
Directors Sil van der Woerd & Jorik Dozy
