To Love and Protect
To Love and Protect spotlights the power of Indonesian women restoring coral reefs through access, creativity, and community.
As ocean temperatures reach deadly thresholds, woman-led coral restoration organization Coral Catch shows us what’s possible when we refuse to give up.

Care for the Ocean
More than 84% of the world's coral reefs have been subjected to intense, bleaching-level ocean heat stress. This year, as conversations around coral reefs reaching critical tipping points became louder, Coral Catch's work has never felt more necessary.
As Coral Catch marks five years of women-led marine conservation in Indonesia, they empower women once excluded from the ocean through professional dive training, reef restoration skills, and leadership pathways.
When women are given access, conservation becomes stronger and more resilient.
"This year has brought difficult conversations about the future of coral reefs. But it has also shown us something else. That hope is not passive. It is built through action, through people, and through community."
