Wasteminster Wins Gold at the 1.4 Awards

"The Planet Positive category was introduced in the 2021 awards, to honour shorts that inspire climate action and positive change."

Greenpeace's Wasteminster won gold at the 2021 1.4 Awards, in the inaugural Planet Positive category, beating prestigious competition such as Pulse Film's #WeThe15 and Gripping Film's #ImagineFor1minute shorts.

1.4 is a self-funded project that has been featuring the very best directing talent in short form filmmaking since January, 2012.

Curator Lyndy Stout has been at the forefront of championing this work for many years – first as deputy editor of Creative Review and latterly as editor of shots for over a decade.

The 1.4 Awards Show reflects this by celebrating the world’s cleverest and most original short-form filmmakers. We're honored by this award.
