We are honored by the recognition Wasteminster continues to receives even a year after we released the short film. This time, Wasteminster won 2 gold awards at the 2022 Creative Circle Awards, for Best 3D Animation and Best Animation For Positive Change.

The Creative Circle Awards is the first marketing awards in Britain, founded in 1945, registered and owned by the UK creative community. They celebrate the best creative work in marketing communications with an ever-evolving collective of over 600 judges from creative departments across the country.

Wasteminster for Greenpeace is a uniquely original depiction of what would happen if the plastic waste the UK exports each day was instead dumped on Downing Street. Voiced by two of Britain’s best impressionists, Jon Culshaw and Matt Forde, the animation is intended to raise a smile at the impressions of Boris Johnson and Michael Gove, and raise awareness of the plastic pollution crisis the UK is creating overseas as well as putting pressure in the government.
