Celebrating International Youth Day 2020 at the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Centre

Sean Lin of Studio Birthplace was invited to the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Centre (MGTC)'s 2020 International Youth Day celebration on August 20th as a Malaysian youth who has been having a major success in his field to share his experiences to inspire Malaysian youths to use creativity for a sustainable future.

The theme of International Youth Day 2020 is “Youth Engagement for Global Action” and it seeks to highlight the ways in which the engagement of young people at the local, national and global levels is enriching national and multilateral institutions and processes. The sharing session was part of Malaysia's Expo 2020 Dubai Celebrates International Youth Day event, held at MGTC. With the theme in mind, Sean gave a 10 minute presentation about Studio Birthplace's mission and creative approach to delivering information through emotion.

The event also included a presentation by Suzanne Ling, co-founder of social enterprise PichaEats and was attended by YAM Tunku Dato’ Seri Zain Al-‘Abidin Ibni Tuanku Muhriz, brand ambassador for Malaysia Pavilion for Expo 2020 Dubai.
